Se modifica el Código Civil para adaptarlo a la verdadera naturaleza de los animales y a las relaciones de convivencia que se establecen entre ellos y los seres humanos. La normativa tambien modifica la LEC y la LH para impedir el embargo o la extensión de las hipotecas sobre los animales de compañía.
